Somatic Healing Framework
At White Tiger Teachings, somatic healing is a deeply holistic foundation that honors the profound connection between the body, mind, spirit and emotion. Our bodies carry our stories, often holding stress and unresolved experiences. Through a somatic lens, I support you in gently releasing stored tension for greater ease, regulation and access to inner awareness and knowing—laying the groundwork for both everyday integration and deeper medicine work.
Here's how I guide our work together:
1. Creating a safe and supportive space
I create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, witnessed and supported. Through active listening and compassionate presence, we lay the foundation for trust and healing.
2. Cultivating body-based awareness
Together, we develop your awareness of the sensations and signals your body offers. Using practices such as visualization and body scans, I help you reconnect with your body as a source of wisdom.
3. Identifying sources of tension and stress
As your awareness deepens, we gently explore the roots of stored stress—whether rooted in past trauma, emotional patterns or limiting beliefs. This process helps uncover the deeper layers contributing to physical or emotional discomfort.
4. Developing somatic practices
We’ll co-create a personalized set of tools that support your release and regulation. These may include yoga, intuitive movement, somatic experiencing, or breath-based exercises—always attuned to what your body is ready for.
5. Nurturing self-compassion
Healing is not linear. I support you in cultivating self-kindness as you move through your journey. There is no right or wrong way to heal.
6. Ongoing reflection and integration
We’ll regularly check in on what’s working, what needs adjusting and celebrate your shifts. Your insights and embodied experiences will guide our next steps.
